As a small business owner with both home office and business office, I cannot emphasize enough how invaluable Bill Haught and his Who Do You Call? IT-support business is. I can sleep well knowing that I have my "IT Department" on call whenever the need arises. Over the past few years, he has helped me shop for and select new laptop and peripherals, doing all of the dilligence, review comparisons, etc; installation and setup of all new software; quarterly appointments for software updates/maintenance; setting up backup systems, troubleshooting wireless routers, "scary" error messages, etc. etc.. Sure, Geek Squad is an option. But this is an opportunity to develop a one-on-one relationship with a very trustworthy service person who you never have to begin over with b/c he knows you, your computer, your tech history, etc.. Plus, the best characteristic of Bill and Who Do You Call? is his ability to translate tech language and issues into concepts that a technophobe can understand and perhaps even enjoy. He brings humor, perspective, and of course deep knowledge and understanding of computers and networking to what is otherwise a dry topic. He documents his professional time spent on research and support meticulously.

In my search for someone to design a web site for my business every networking event I attended someone had a "web site guy" and there were always plenty who "also did web sites". Bill Haught, Whodoyoucall was recommended to me by a fellow Professional Organizer. He immediately made me feel at ease about the process and gave me clear instruction about my part in presenting how I wished to be portrayed on the web. Recently my national industry members discovered that many of their sites had been plagurized and I was secure in the fact that Bill had ensured my site was safe and that all material I supplied to him was properly accredited. Bill is responsive, talented, reasonable and full of great ideas.
Who Do You Call? is a great service for computer assistance. I found them to be much more effective than The Geek Squad. We bought a new laptop with their instruction; they told us what to get, what to ask for, what to avoid etc. They came over and got everything set up; security and anti-spy software, recovery CD's, transferred all data from our old computer to our new one, plus to our back up drive. They created a document for us with all of our licensing numbers and registration information. It was great. I highly recommend them!

Bill Haught has been an amazing resource for our home office needs. He is professional but approachable and will help with ANY computer-related questions. He is extremely prompt returning calls and flexible with scheduling visits to your home to help "on site". Our computer crashed and would not even turn on and Bill managed to retrieve all the data, help us purchase the right new machine for us, and transferred the data to the new one. He has also helped us set up a wireless network to allow both our machines to be online and helped us backup the data for both machines. He has also helped with countless little questions that make using the machines more efficient. He can explain complicated things in terms that anyone can understand. He is also capable of helping small businesses with more complex issues. He is an amazing resource!!

I've had a home computer since 1988, and was a computer support person at a major San Francisco company for six years. My new (Feb. 2007) Windows-Vista-Ultimate-based computer with related hardware- and software-compatibles, coupled with resolution of Windows software paid-for but not correctly installed/verified, were giving me lots of problems. Bill Haught, of Who Do You Call?, was summoned to my home. My verdict of his knowledge, skill, clear and down-to-earth explanations, documentation, set-ups, friendliness, sense of humor, efficiency, is an unqualified VERY BEST OUTSTANDING.
